With the help of Karsen, Katie, Jake and Brandon, Brockert Hall was able to put on another camping trip this year for all of the residents of the hall. With 16 people signed up, the crew took over the group to Governor Dodge State Park where resident pitched up their own tents, cut their own fire wood, and hung around the fire enjoying the fun conversations with one another. There was a little rain during the trip but that didn’t stop the wonderful attitudes of the residents and the staff. We stayed in one of the bigger tents and played cards while we waited for the rain to stop. With the rain still coming down, the staff decided to take the group to the bowling alley to help relieve some extra energy they might have had. After that, the rain stopped and we were able to have some more fun back at the site. Overall the residents had a great time! If you missed out, check out the pictures below and see what we were able to do!
